Co-ordinator – Waste and Resource Recovery (Local Government) Applications Close 19 June
Council is offering a unique opportunity to manage Landfill and Transfer Station operations within a Local Government framework. We are looking for a results driven person with a passion for waste management to drive best practice industry standards.
This role is accountable for the oversight of the Centre operations with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Employee supervision
- Transfer station operations
- Post-closure management
- Recycling and re-use activities
- Budget management
- Licence compliance (EPA)
- Regulatory reporting
The position will be paid at Level 4 of the SA Municipal Salaried Officers Award and Council’s current Enterprise Agreement which equates to $77,370 per annum (including an annualised salary for a seven day roster).
