The Position
As a Chef and Cook you will be assisting our catering team to deliver good quality food and service to the University of New England students. In this role you will be working in a fast-paced catering kitchen assisting in preparing and serving meals to hungry students daily.
Key duties
- Cooking, preparing food and carrying out general kitchen duties
- Deliver to our client's high expectation of a premium experience
- Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
- Ordering and stock-taking
- Working with a team of kitchen staff
- Adhering to the company food safety program
The Person
- Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 'Can-do' attitude
- Personal drive and passion to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a diverse catering team.
