A migration agent advised them they would not be granted an Australian working visa. They didn’t have much money in the bank. If they couldn’t work they wouldn’t last long. But they decided to try their luck. They packed five bags, their young family and headed to Australia on a tourist visa.

Duties
- Improve/develop new processes and materials;
- Design/ improve methods and equipment for extraction, filtration, distillation;
- Prepare reports and detailed costings of changes/improvements;
- Design/operate pilot plants;
- Design plants and specify equipment/processes and layout;
- Find faults in plant equipment and take corrective action to ensure safe operation;
- Test the quality of the process/product;
- Provide advice/information to management; and
- May be involved in direction/coordination of plant operators.
Skills Required
- Enjoy technical and engineering work;
- Willing to adhere to safety requirements;
- Able to identify, analyse and solve problems;
- Good communication skills;
- Good at computing and design;
- Practical and creative;
- Able to work independently; and
- Able to accept responsibility.
Salary Range $80,000 to $130,000
